GIRARD HISTORY MUSEUM WELCOMES YOU
Preserving the history of our community!
The Girard History Museum features the history of Girard and the surrounding Crawford County. It is located in the former St. John's Episcopal Church built in 1888 which features a spectacular oak ceiling and beautiful late 19th century stained glass windows. Exhibits include Girard's socialist history and the Emanuel Haldeman-Julius "Little Blue Books."
Friends of Historic Girard is a non-profit community organization dedicated to preserving the rich history and collecting historical artifacts of Girard, Kansas to share with the public and school groups.

We have all types of displays with many different areas of history.

Hours are: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm Tuesday – Friday
9:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday
History tokens, T-shirts, Genesis of Girard books and more for sale.
